Today I shed a tear, for the lady I knew, 
She’s now passed on from this life and up to the blue,
For her battle has ended and she gave such a fight,
Now she can shine like a star, beautiful and bright. 

Your memory will live on, you belong in our hearts,
You’ll always be with us, we will not be apart,
The memories I have of you fill me with glee,
Looking out for us all, including Jack and Amy. 

Whether it be talking to you for hours on end,
Always with my mum, and such a great friend,
Sometimes it was even hard to get away,
You’d talk forever, I think it was fair to say. 

Through the years I can remember, you’ve always be there,
Meeting for lunch, breaking things and people would stare,
You’d also do homemade curry for us all to enjoy,
Or the first time you met Codey, our beautiful boy.

I couldn’t have asked for a better god mum,
I couldn’t thank you enough for what you have done,
So I shed a tear today and feeling unsteady,
And thank the world I had the pleasure of knowing you Debbie
